4th grade science sparks curiosity by exploring the natural world through observation and investigation. Students develop the skills to ask questions, gather evidence, and explain their findings. Our program builds a strong foundation for more advanced science topics in upper grades.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
4th grade science introduces students to fundamental concepts in life, physical, and earth sciences. Lessons cover ecosystems, food chains, plant and animal adaptations, the water cycle, weather patterns, and simple energy forms like light, heat, and electricity. Students learn how to design and carry out experiments, record observations, and interpret results. Special emphasis is placed on the scientific method and making connections between classroom concepts and the real world.
CERTIFICATION
Assessments include short quizzes, lab reports, and project-based tasks to evaluate understanding of scientific concepts. Feedback addresses both content knowledge and science process skills, such as accurate data collection and clear explanation of results.
